# Overview

Rewardful can send webhook events to **endpoints** that notify your application any time an event happens in your account.

{% endhint %}

A common example is to receive a webhook when an affiliate signs up, which allows you to subscribe that affiliate to an email campaign in an external email service provider.

Webhooks can also be used to connect Rewardful with [Zapier](https://zapier.com/). To see an example of how to do this, see our [How to connect Rewardful to Zapier](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FC1uH47xc7Q) screencast.
